The Amber 95 from Itho Daalderop is an advanced air/water heat pump with a heating capacity of 9.5 kW. This quiet and robust outdoor unit is ideal for both new-build homes and renovation projects, delivering reliable performance in every season. Thanks to the use of the natural refrigerant R290 (propane), this heat pump more than meets the strictest environmental requirements.

How does the system work?

The Amber 95 extracts energy from the outside air and converts it into usable heat for:

• Space heating via underfloor heating or low-temperature radiators
• Domestic hot water, in combination with an I-WPV storage tank
• Cooling in summer – for extra comfort

The built-in inverter technology ensures stepless power control. This makes the system more energy-efficient and stable than traditional heat pumps that switch on and off continuously. The Amber adjusts itself to the current heat demand in the home, which increases comfort and extends the service life of the components.

The system comes standard with a control module for indoor installation, associated sensors and 20 metres of cabling. This allows the unit to be quickly connected to buffer tanks, boilers and thermostats, and additional accessories can be easily added.

For which applications?

This heat pump is suitable for:

• Corner houses, semi-detached houses and smaller detached houses
• Projects where downtime and noise reduction are important
• Both hybrid installations (with central heating boiler as backup)
• And fully electric setups (with buffer tanks + tap water boiler)

In a hybrid setup, the Amber 95 takes care of the entire base load, while the central heating boiler only kicks in during extreme peak loads. This is ideal for renovations where you cannot immediately go completely gas-free. In all-electric situations, we always recommend a well-dimensioned buffer tank and a domestic hot water tank, for example from the I-WPV 3G series. These deliver a surprising amount of hot water from a small floor space (60x60 cm) thanks to the efficient integration of the heat exchanger in the floor frame.

In addition, the Amber is prepared for cold winters: even at -10°C, this heat pump still delivers sufficient power. Thanks to its quiet design (only 54 dB), the unit is also perfect for installation in residential areas with strict noise regulations.
