Wood and coal as basic fuel

The R80 is essentially designed for manual firing of logs and coal. The spacious centre door allows you to add larger quantities of fuel effortlessly. This makes the boiler practical to use, even for intensive applications where a large volume is required.

Prepared for alternative fuels

In addition to traditional firing, the R80 offers maximum flexibility. There is an opening in the door where a pellet, oil or gas burner can be installed as an option. High efficiency thanks to three-pass system

The R80 uses the proven three-pass system that is characteristic of the Sukom series:

• First pass: heat transfer via radiation in the combustion chamber
• Second pass: radiation and convection along the water-cooled walls
• Third pass: convection and conduction in the heat exchanger just before the flue gas outlet

This technology ensures optimum fuel utilisation. By installing optional turbulators in the heat exchanger, the efficiency can be increased to 92%.

Designed for heavy duty

With 80 kW of power, the Sukom R80 is suitable for producing central heating water at standard temperatures of 90/70 °C.

The boiler operates safely at a maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar. To make efficient use of the heat generated, we recommend combining the boiler with our /buffer tanks. This distributes the heat evenly and keeps the system stable, even under high loads.

Ease of use and control

When using wood and coal, a mechanical draught regulator automatically controls the air supply by opening or closing the valve in the lower door. If an automatic burner is used, the air control is fully electronic. The R80 thus combines traditional craftsmanship with modern ease of use.

Safety guaranteed

The Sukom R80 is equipped with all the necessary features for safe use. A safety valve protects against overpressure, while a safety heat exchanger prevents overheating by actively cooling the boiler when necessary. This makes the R80 reliable, even in intensive operating situations.

Sustainable and certified

The R80 fully complies with European standard EN 303-5, is EcoDesign Ready and complies with the Serbian standard SRPS. This means you are choosing a boiler that is not only powerful and efficient, but also meets modern requirements in terms of emissions and sustainability.
