Three-pass system for high efficiency

Like the other Sukom models, the R25 uses a three-pass system. This means that the flue gases pass through the water-filled chambers three times before being discharged through the chimney.

• First phase: heat transfer by radiation in the combustion chamber
• Second phase: radiation and convection along the water-cooled walls
• Third phase: convection and conduction in the heat exchanger

This system maximises the energy from the fuel. By adding optional turbulators, the efficiency can even reach 92%.

Ideal balance in power

With its 25 kW, the Sukom R25 sits exactly between the lighter R18 and the heavier R30. This makes it ideal for medium-sized homes, farms or workshops. The boiler is suitable for central heating systems with a standard operating temperature of 90/70 °C and can operate at a maximum pressure of 2.5 bar. Operation and air control

When using wood or coal, a mechanical draught regulator automatically controls the air supply via the lower door. This keeps combustion stable and efficient. The Sukom R25 is designed with safety as a priority. A safety valve is installed to protect against overpressure, and a special safety heat exchanger can be installed to protect the boiler against excessive temperatures. This automatically cools the boiler in an emergency.
