The R65 was originally developed for the manual burning of wood and coal. Thanks to the spacious centre door, you can refill quickly and easily, even with larger quantities of fuel. This makes the boiler particularly suitable for users who have access to their own wood or coal supplies.

Prepared for multiple fuels

In addition to manual firing, the Sukom R65 offers flexibility for the future. The centre door has an opening for the installation of a pellet, oil or gas burner. Three-pass system for efficiency

The R65 is constructed as a three-pass boiler. The flue gases pass through the water-filled chambers three times, ensuring optimal heat utilisation.

• In the combustion chamber: heat transfer via radiation
• In the water-cooled boiler wall: radiation and convection
• In the heat exchanger: convection and conduction just before the flue gas outlet

This clever design means that hardly any energy is lost. By optionally installing turbulators in the heat exchanger, the efficiency can be increased to 92%.

Power for large installations

With its 65 kW capacity, the Sukom R65 is one of the more powerful models in the series. It is suitable for the production of central heating water at standard temperatures of 90/70 °C and functions smoothly at a maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar. For optimum performance, it is recommended to combine the boiler with a buffer tanks. This ensures more stable heat storage and makes the installation even more efficient.

Ease of use and control

When using wood or coal, the air supply is automatically controlled by a mechanical draught regulator, which controls the air damper in the lower door. If a pellet, oil or gas burner is chosen, the burner takes over the entire air control electronically. This allows the user to choose between traditional heating or modern convenience.

Safety and reliability

The Sukom R65 is equipped with connections for a safety valve against overpressure and also has a built-in safety heat exchanger. This switches on automatically if the boiler threatens to become too hot, preventing overheating. This gives users the assurance of a safe system, even under high loads.

Certification and sustainability

Like the other models in the Sukom R series, the R65 complies with European standard EN 303-5, is EcoDesign Ready and complies with the Serbian standard SRPS. This means that the boiler meets strict requirements in terms of efficiency and emissions. Important to know: there is no ISDE subsidy for wood or pellet boilers.
