40 kW wood boiler for powerful heating systems

The BURNiT NWB PRIME 40 wood boiler (40 kW) is designed for heating installations where higher output, stable heat delivery and a robust system setup are required. This wood-fired boiler is suitable for larger residential buildings, workshops, agricultural buildings, outbuildings and applications where smaller wood boilers may not provide enough capacity.

Strong foundation for larger heating projects

With 40 kW output, this model is positioned clearly above the lighter versions in the NWB PRIME range. For installers, this capacity level is useful in projects where larger buffer tanks, longer operating periods and a well-designed hydraulic setup are required.

Electronic control with fan operation

The BURNiT NWB PRIME 40 is equipped with electronic control that operates the fan. This allows the combustion process to be controlled more effectively and helps match heat output to the current heating demand. The result is calmer firing behaviour and more stable system performance.

Large combustion chamber for logs up to approx. 50 cm

The spacious combustion chamber and large loading door make it easy to load logs up to approximately 50 cm. This improves daily usability and makes the boiler suitable for installations where regular firing is required.

Three-pass flue gas path for improved heat utilization

The three-pass flue gas path helps extract more usable heat from the flue gases before they leave the boiler. Combined with the water jacket around the combustion chamber, this supports efficient heat transfer to the heating water.

Water jacket around the combustion chamber

The full water jacket around the combustion chamber ensures that generated heat is effectively absorbed by the heating water. This makes the boiler suitable for system setups with buffer tanks, manifolds, radiators, underfloor heating or other heat distribution systems.

Prepared for pellet, oil or gas burner extension

The BURNiT NWB PRIME 40 is prepared for extension with pellet, oil or gas burners. This keeps the heating installation flexible if different fuels or additional heating options are required in the future.

Safety and certification

The wood boiler is equipped with important safety components, including an STB emergency thermostat, a 3 bar safety valve, a safety heat exchanger and an air inlet valve. The NWB PRIME range is tested and approved according to EN 303-5.
