The Caleffi 5453 DIRTMAG® magnetic dirt separator compression DN 25 (28 mm) efficiently removes dirt, sludge and ferrous debris from system water. Its magnetic ring prevents damage to pumps, valves and heat exchangers, extending system life.
Essential for A-rated circulation pumps
Modern high-efficiency pumps use magnetic rotors that attract metal particles. The DIRTMAG® separator captures these contaminants, maintaining clean flow and stable operation.
High efficiency with low pressure drop
The internal mesh slows the flow, allowing impurities to settle in the bottom chamber. The removable external magnet ring (2 × 0.3 T) traps ferrous particles while maintaining hydraulic performance.
Easy installation and maintenance
This model features 28 mm compression fittings for copper pipes. Thanks to the rotatable T-piece, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Cleaning can be done safely while the system is running.
