The Caleffi 5453 DIRTMAG® magnetic dirt separator (1") efficiently removes sludge, sand and iron particles from heating and cooling circuits. The magnetic ring captures ferrous impurities, protecting pumps, valves and exchangers against wear and clogging.

Essential for modern pump systems

A-rated circulation pumps use magnetic motors that attract iron residues. Without a magnetic separator, these particles can reduce pump life. The DIRTMAG® eliminates this risk and keeps your installation running smoothly.

Smart design for maximum performance

Its internal mesh element slows the fluid, allowing dirt to settle in the lower chamber. The removable external magnet ring (2 × 0.3 T) collects magnetic debris and can be cleaned without stopping the system.

Easy installation and maintenance

The rotating T-piece allows both horizontal and vertical installation. Made of high-strength PA66G30 technopolymer and brass fittings, it handles temperatures up to 90 °C and glycol mixtures up to 30%.
