Hewa officially introduces iGarden to the Dutch market
Hewa Nederland is the official partner and distributor of iGarden in the Netherlands. This means we are not only introducing the new InverX7 air-to-water heat pumps to the Dutch market, but are also building the local technical support, product expertise and service structure around the brand.
For Dutch installers and consumers, iGarden is a new name in residential heating. Behind the brand, however, is Fairland, an international manufacturer with more than twenty years of experience in inverter technology, heat pump technology and water technology, now also extending into intelligent robotics and energy management.
This established technical background, combined with the development of new energy solutions, was an important reason for Hewa to enter into the partnership with iGarden.
iGarden is new to residential heating. Fairland is not.
Fairland was founded in 2004 and established a strong international position in areas including inverter swimming pool heat pumps. Over the following years, this technical expertise expanded into intelligent pumps, water technology, autonomous robotics, AI control and energy solutions.
A swimming pool heat pump and an air-to-water heat pump for a home are of course different products. However, they share several important technical disciplines, including compressor technology, heat transfer, refrigerant control, inverter control and efficient energy use.
InverX7: Fairland expertise applied to the home
With the iGarden InverX7, Fairland's technical development is being applied to residential heating, cooling and domestic hot water. For the Dutch market, the range consists of 8, 11, 13 and 16 kW models.
The InverX7 uses the natural refrigerant R290 and combines inverter technology with intelligent control. According to iGarden, its Edge AI control can take factors such as weather conditions, indoor temperature, usage patterns and energy prices into account.
From a smart heat pump to smarter energy use
From 1 January 2027, the Dutch net-metering scheme will end. This makes it increasingly relevant for homes with solar panels to consider how much of their self-generated electricity is actually used directly within the home.
That also makes the next stage of iGarden's development interesting. In addition to heat pumps, Fairland develops energy storage and energy management systems. iGarden already positions the InverX7 as part of a wider Energy Ecosystem.
Solar energy, storage, energy management and the heat pump can increasingly work together as one system. Especially after the end of net metering, this approach to energy use may become more relevant for Dutch homes.
More than distribution: expertise and support
Hewa does not intend to simply add iGarden to the product range as another new product. As the official partner and distributor, we are building a Dutch support structure around the brand for both professional installation partners and end users.
Warranty applies in accordance with the applicable iGarden/Hewa warranty terms and corresponding conditions.
A new chapter for Hewa and iGarden
The InverX7 represents the first major introduction within the partnership between Hewa and iGarden in the Netherlands. Combining Fairland's technological background, local support from Hewa and further developments in energy management creates a platform with room to grow in the years ahead.
For Hewa, this partnership is therefore about more than introducing a new heat pump. It is about building iGarden into a technically strong and sustainable brand for the Dutch market.
