The BONFIX 2000458 is a straight brass press fitting designed to connect a 26 mm Alu-press multilayer pipe to a 25 mm pipe. This straight BONFIX reducing coupling is suitable for drinking water installations and heating systems. Direct transition between 26 and 25 mm

Leak Before Press installation control

The BONFIX 2000458 features Leak Before Press technology. A connection that has not been pressed becomes visible during pressure testing because it will leak. Brass fitting with EPDM sealing

The fitting is manufactured from CuZn40Pb2 CW617N brass. EPDM seals provide reliable sealing between the coupling and the multilayer pipe. The fitting is suitable for a maximum working pressure of 10 bar and a continuous medium temperature ranging from -20 °C to +90 °C.

Suitable for multiple press profiles

You can install the BONFIX 2000458 using TH, H and U profile press jaws. This allows you to use various commonly available pressing tools. Always verify that the selected press jaw is suitable for the relevant pipe dimensions and the BONFIX Alu-press piping system.

KIWA and KOMO certified

The straight reducing coupling has KIWA and KOMO approval. This makes the fitting suitable for certified drinking water and heating installations, provided it is installed in accordance with the current BONFIX installation instructions and system conditions.

Installing the BONFIX 2000458

Cut both multilayer pipes squarely and carefully calibrate and deburr the pipe ends. Insert the pipes fully into the press sockets and use the connection indicator to check the insertion depth. Press both connections with the correct press jaw and complete each connection in one full pressing cycle.
