Reliable overheating protection for solid-fuel boilers
The Regulus Thermal Safety Discharge Valve (1.3 m capillary) protects boilers from dangerous overheating conditions. When the sensor reaches its rated opening temperature, the valve automatically supplies cold water to the cooling loop, safely carrying excess heat away.
How the BVTS valve functions
As the boiler temperature rises, pressure builds in the capillary bulb. Once the threshold is reached, the valve pin lifts and cooling begins immediately. The valve is fully mechanical and operates without electricity — ideal for emergency cooling during power failures. Designed for universal compatibility
With a 3/4" female inlet thread and a 1/2" male sensor thread, the valve is suitable for most modern solid-fuel boilers equipped with a cooling heat exchanger. The 1.3 m capillary allows optimal sensor placement at the hottest point of the boiler.
