Reliable freeze protection for heat pump installations
The Raminex RAM Frost Protection Valve 1" prevents freezing damage in heat pump systems by automatically opening when system water reaches 3 °C. Once the temperature returns to 4 °C, the valve closes again, restoring normal operation.
Direct sensor placement for accurate response
The thermostatic element is positioned directly in the water flow, ensuring that ambient cold air does not trigger the valve prematurely. It activates only when the actual system water approaches freezing.
Built for long-term reliability
A special sealing ring prevents deposits in the cartridge. The double O-ring design and anti-friction treated discharge valve ensure smooth and reliable operation over time.
Installation requirements
The valve is designed for horizontal installation only, with the discharge opening pointing vertically downward. Suitable for heat pump systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
